My audio and digital reads

Before anyone asks about the no physical books it's because all of my books are officially packed or will be packed tomorrow and I am not going to library until the move is done.

My Audio read currently is Babel by R.F. Kuang. I'm 45% of the way through it currently and am listening to it using Libby. I was drawn to this book from a Tik Tok of the author saying this book was easier for her to write because it dealt with language while Katabasis was hard because she's bad at math. It made me feel seen and immediately I added it to my TBR. Honestly I might make it a physical read next year too so I can annotate it because there are so many parts that I can see leading to new things.

My next Audio books are A Fugitive Green and Voyager by Diana Gabaldon. They are books 2.5 and 3 of the Outlander series respectfully. I'm hopeful I can at least get A Fugitive Green done before Sunday because I have the week off and have a few more boxes to pack.

My current Digital read is The Pumpkin Spice Cafe by Laurie Gilmore I'm 55% of the way done. Kindle says I have an hour and a half left so I'm hoping to get it finished while I have my Nanny kid tonight and tomorrow before he leaves me. I wanted a book that gave seasonal vibes that can go towards my Kindle Unlimited goal. Honestly it's not my favorite but it's fun.

My hopeful digital reads are The Guy Sure Looks Like Plant Food to Me by Santana Knox which is a rom-com inspired by Little Shop of Horrors. Then I plan to read Holiday Ever After by Hannah Grace which looks like a slightly inspired by the nutcracker book by Hannah Grace who I historically love. Both books are on Kindle Unlimited so I recommend checking them out.

Moving Update, we are moving after Thanksgiving break but before Christmas break which gives us a small window to work with. My boyfriend's sister is planning to not stay at school next semester but we still can't tell her about the move even though it would probably keep her at school.

... Read moreIf you're navigating the world of audiobooks and digital reading during a busy time like moving, it can be really satisfying to find titles that not only fit your interests but also your schedule. For instance, Babel by R.F. Kuang offers a rich blend of language immersion and historical fantasy that can captivate listeners through platforms like Libby. Listening to this audiobook while packing boxes turns what might be a tedious task into an engaging experience. Diving into the Outlander series, especially with titles like A Fugitive Green and Voyager, adds a historical romance and adventure flair. These stories are perfect for those who love deep character development and sweeping narratives, making them excellent companions for both quiet evenings and commutes. For digital readers seeking seasonal vibes, The Pumpkin Spice Cafe by Laurie Gilmore delivers a lighthearted, Hallmark movie-esque feel with its small-town setting and gradual blossoming friendships. Though it may not be everyone's favorite, its charm and cozy atmosphere provide a pleasant escape. Looking ahead, rom-com fans might enjoy The Guy Sure Looks Like Plant Food to Me by Santana Knox, inspired by the quirky charm of Little Shop of Horrors. Meanwhile, Holiday Ever After by Hannah Grace offers a festive read inspired by The Nutcracker, appealing to those who appreciate classic holiday themes and heartfelt storytelling. Utilizing Kindle Unlimited can be a great way to explore diverse authors and genres without extra cost, especially when juggling a packed schedule. This service broadens your reading options and encourages discovery of fresh voices like Knox and Grace. Balancing moving stresses with reading can be challenging, but setting aside time for audiobooks and digital reads can be a comforting routine. Plus, reading during this period offers a chance to unwind while staying productive. Happy reading and good luck with your move!
