New body on the trx4 sport
First 10 minutes into the trip I sheared an axle pin. The driver side front axle and wheel came out. Had to do a quick field repair and got back out crawling
The TRX4 Sport is designed for off-road enthusiasts, but like any vehicle, it can face mechanical challenges. Shearing off axle pins, as I experienced, is not uncommon in high-stakes crawling situations. To prevent this, ensure your vehicle is equipped with durable components and regularly check for wear and tear on parts. Utilizing robust aftermarket parts can significantly enhance durability and performance during extreme use. Additionally, familiarize yourself with basic repairs to keep your vehicle running smoothly on the trail. Consider joining community forums like #traxxas, #trx4, and #rccrawler for valuable tips and to share experiences with other enthusiasts. These platforms are excellent for troubleshooting issues, exchanging ideas, and discovering potential upgrades. Mastering the art of RC crawling requires both skill and knowledge of your vehicle, so stay connected with the community to continually improve your off-roading experience.
