Giant Halloween candy
Welcome back to episode 3 of turning my front porch into my most whimsical Halloween front porch of my dreams!
Today we’re making giant wrapped candy pieces. For this you’ll need foil tin pans. You can get the from Sam’s Club, Costco, dollar tree etc… you’re going to need a variety of colored table clothes. I grabbed mine from the dollar tree. Hot glue and ribbon. Hot glue them together, wrapped them off and bunch up the sides and you’re done! Very simple with minimal supplies.

Transforming your front porch into a Halloween wonderland can be so much fun and incredibly rewarding, especially when you create unique and eye-catching decorations like giant wrapped candy pieces. In my recent project, I discovered that using everyday items like foil tin pans and inexpensive colored tablecloths can really capture that whimsical candy look without breaking the bank. The key is grabbing foil pans from places like Sam’s Club or Costco where you can get them in bulk, which helps save costs. I also found that Dollar Tree has a great selection of colorful plastic tablecloths which work perfectly because they’re lightweight and easy to manipulate for wrapping and bunching at the ends. Using hot glue to assemble the pans and secure the tablecloth wrapping provides a sturdy finish, while adding ribbon around the ends gives the decoration a polished and festive touch. What I love most about this craft is the simplicity. It requires minimal tools and skills, making it approachable for anyone—even if you’re not typically a DIY person. Plus, these giant candy decorations are versatile. You can place them along your walkway, arrange them on your porch steps, or cluster them around your Halloween display to add that pop of vibrant color and playful fun. From my experience, the biggest tip is to experiment with different sizes of foil pans and mix up tablecloth colors to create a candy assortment effect. You could even add some sparkle or custom draw candy swirls using paints or markers to make your giant treats stand out even more. These projects bring out the creativity and excitement of the season, and they’re a great way to engage kids in decorating together. If you’re looking to create a magical Halloween front porch that’ll impress neighbors and guests, this giant candy idea is definitely worth trying. It’s festive, affordable, and fun to assemble. Plus, it’s a fantastic way to add your personal touch and share your Halloween spirit with everyone who visits!
