I’m on my way….

2025/9/23 Edited to

... Read moreMy digital life felt like a cluttered closet – overflowing with things I didn't need, taking up space, and honestly, making me feel overwhelmed. That's why I decided it was time for a serious PHONE DECLUTTER as part of my overall glow-up journey. It’s more than just freeing up storage; it’s about making space for mental clarity and positive energy. If you're feeling sluggish, uninspired, or just plain bogged down by your phone, this refresh is for you. Let's dive into MAKING SPACE, because this is where the real magic happens. First up, CLEAN OUT CONTACTS. We all have those numbers from years ago, people we barely remember, or duplicates. Go through them mercilessly. If you haven’t spoken to them in ages and they don't bring immediate joy or necessity, it's okay to let them go. Next, tackle the biggest storage hog: DELETE UNWANTED PHOTOS/VIDEOS. Before you delete, make sure to back up any truly precious memories to a cloud service or external drive. Then, be honest with yourself – do you really need 20 similar selfies or blurry screenshots? Clearing these out feels incredibly liberating. And don't forget to CLEAN OUT DRAFTS and CLEAN OUT NOTES too. These forgotten digital corners can hold surprising amounts of mental clutter. Then comes the crucial part for your mental well-being: curating your social media and app environment. It’s time to UNFOLLOW ACCOUNTS THAT DON'T MAKE YOU HAPPY OR MOTIVATED. If an account consistently makes you feel less-than, jealous, or simply bored, hit that unfollow button. Your feed should be a source of inspiration, not comparison. Similarly, DELETE APPS THAT DON'T BRING YOU ANY GOOD. Those games you never play, shopping apps that tempt you too much, or news apps that just amplify anxiety – they've got to go. And for those truly toxic interactions, don't hesitate to BLOCK ACCOUNTS THAT MAKE YOU FEEL BAD. Protecting your peace is paramount. After the big clear-out, it’s time for the aesthetic and organizational refresh, which I call the "pleasing" stage. Start with your personal digital space. CHANGE YOUR LOCK/HOMESCREEN to something calming, inspiring, or simply beautiful. You look at it dozens of times a day, so make it count! While you're at it, CHANGE APP WIDGETS to display information that genuinely helps you or brings a smile to your face. And finally, the "details" that tie it all together. Take some time to CLEAR OUT EMAILS, TEXTS. Unsubscribe from newsletters you never read, archive old conversations, and delete spam. Having a clean inbox and message app reduces anxiety significantly. Give your online persona a refresh by doing a subtle CHANGE PFP AND BIO ON SOCIALS – a current photo and bio that genuinely reflects who you are now. If you're a TikTok user like me, RE ORGANIZE YOUR TIKTOK FAVOURITES to keep your curated content relevant and inspiring. The last few steps for a complete reset are often overlooked but make a big difference: CLEAR ALARMS you no longer need, CLEAR CALL LOGS AND TABS IN GOOGLE/SAFARI. These small actions contribute to a feeling of control and a truly fresh start. This digital detox is just PART ONE of my journey to a more intentional and refreshed self. It's amazing how much lighter you feel when your digital world is as tidy as your physical one. COME BACK FOR PART TWO as I continue this exciting path to a full glow-up!

don’t sleep on this color way 👟🌸
I got the new balance 530’s in two different color ways. The first is the classic silver and blue, and the second is this cutesy iridescent pink and purple pair. These will be fun to wear to dance class and on casual outfit days. 🥰 I purchased both pairs directly from the new balance website.
