Every day, 22 veterans lose their battles. This is a reminder to prioritize self-care and reach out when it’s needed. The gym can be a space to reconnect with yourself, to rebuild not just your body, but your mind.

To further enhance this supportive atmosphere, consideration should be given to hosting programs that focus on mental wellness, allowing participants to explore the intersections of fitness and mental health actively. Initiating conversations about self-care practices within gym communities can help destigmatize mental health issues and encourage individuals to seek the help they need. Let's remember, taking care of ourselves is not a luxury; it is a necessity.
