As a 34 + year-old nurse, this is "the last year the body will wait," because at this age, the risk of Down syndrome is very high. If the stomach has to check the chromosome thoroughly, it is the intersection of life to choose between... raising money or paying money to a nursing home.

จากประสบการณ์ส่วนตัวที่ผ่านมากับการคิดวางแผนชีวิตในวัย 34 ปีขึ้นไป การตัดสินใจเรื่องมีลูกหรือไม่กลายเป็นโจทย์ใหญ่ที่ส่งผลทั้งด้านอารมณ์และการเงิน จริงอยู่ว่าการมีลูกคือความสุขและความหมายที่หลายคนใฝ่ฝัน แต่ภาวะทางสุขภาพและความเสี่ยง เช่น ความเสี่ยงดาวน์ซินโดรมที่สูงขึ้นตามอายุ ทำให้ทุกครั้งที่คิดเรื่องตั้งครรภ์ต้องพ่วงมาด้วยความกังวลเรื่องตรวจวินิจฉัยโครโมโซมและค่าใช้จ่ายที่ไม่ใช่จำนวนน้อยเลย ในช่วงเวลาที่ต้องเผชิญกับความกดดันทั้งจากครอบครัวที่อยากเห็นหลานและธุรกิจหรือการทำงานที่ยังอยู่ในช่วงสร้างฐานการเงิน เราเองก็เคยรู้สึกสับสนและกลัวว่าการเลือกมีลูกอาจทำให้ต้องทิ้งโอกาสหลายอย่างในชีวิตไป ซึ่งเมื่อถ่ายเทความคิดมาสู่การวางแผนชีวิตแบบจริงจัง พบว่าแผนทั้งสามที่ตั้งไว้มีทั้งข้อดีและข้อจำกัดของตัวเอง เช่น แผนปล่อยธรรมชาติที่เสี่ยงแต่ก็เป็นทางเลือกที่ง่ายที่สุด แผน IVF ที่แม้จะเพิ่มโอกาสแต่ต้องจ่ายเงินก้อนใหญ่ และแผนเลือกไม่มีลูกเพื่อมุ่งเก็บเงินสู่บ้านพักคนชราอย่างมั่นคง สิ่งที่ได้เรียนรู้คือ การตัดสินใจครั้งนี้ไม่ได้มีคำตอบที่ถูกหรือผิด แต่ขึ้นอยู่กับความพร้อมทั้งร่างกาย จิตใจ และการเงินของแต่ละคน การเปิดใจพูดคุยกับคู่ชีวิตอย่างตรงไปตรงมาเป็นกุญแจสำคัญที่ช่วยให้ทุกฝ่ายเข้าใจและเคารพการตัดสินใจของกันและกันมากขึ้น หากคุณกำลังอยู่ในช่วงอายุ 30 กว่าๆ และมีคำถามแบบนี้ ลองใช้เวลาทบทวนเป้าหมายชีวิตและปรึกษาผู้เชี่ยวชาญด้านสุขภาพ รวมทั้งวางแผนการเงินอย่างรอบคอบ เพื่อให้ทางเลือกที่คุณเลือกนั้นนำมาซึ่งความสุขและความสงบใจในระยะยาว ไม่ว่าจะเลือกมีลูกหรือไม่ก็ตาม การยอมรับและรับผิดชอบชีวิตตัวเองอย่างแท้จริงคือสิ่งสำคัญที่สุดที่เราทุกคนควรให้คุณค่า
