I walked beneath a violet moon
Through gardens grown from midnight dreams,
Where black roses bloomed from broken places
And mirrors whispered things unseen.
Each reflection wore my face,
Yet none of them were quite the same.
One carried all my shattered pieces,
One remembered every flame.
The crows did not accuse me.
They simply watched the sky unfold,
As if they knew that every scar
Was just another story told.
The carnival beyond the mist
Sang songs of sorrow, love, and loss,
Of hearts that learned to bloom again
No matter what the darkness cost.
And standing there among the thorns,
I finally understood—
I was never just a single rose.
I was the garden.
The storm.
The grave.
The bloom.
Every version of myself
Still learning how to grow beneath the moon.
And if my roots were tangled deep
In every hurt I’ve carried through,
Then maybe all those broken places
Were only teaching me to bloom.
