To be quite honest, turning 30 was something I dreaded. I felt like my “youth” was gone and that everything would go downhill from here. I WAS WRONG.
Here are some tips and advice from a 30 something year old <3
your age is only a number and the sky is the limit. don’t be afraid to pursue new experiences, careers, friendships, etc
HEALTH IS WEALTH ~ it’s important to be current with your doctor visits, dentist appts, vision tests, pap smear, breast exams, etc
I used to think I needed to have kids by the time I turned 30. This is NOT true. If you want kids, don’t feel too pressured due to age. There ARE options!
you are WORTHY of love and a healthy relationship. Don’t ever settle for anything less of your expectations because you think relationships have a “timeline”
mental health is extremely important and taking care of yours will help you live such a happier and healthier life!
Reduce your time spent on social media and opt for a motivational book or self help podcast instead
plan for retirement! If you have not already done so, consider purchasing property or opening a roth ira, 401k, etc
reallocate your spending on material goods to things that can generate wealth (ex: investments, classes to further degree, etc)
CHERISH and NOURISH the healthy relationships in your life and surround yourself with people who make you feel loved and uplifted!
