the 75 soft challenge is a challenge that encourages you to incorporate healthy, realistic habits into your routine over the next 75 days. Doing this helps you to achieve and maintain a healthier and happier lifestyle!

The 75 soft challenge rules ~

-eat well, balanced meals

-alcohol only on special occasions

-drink 1 gallon of water a day

-exercises for at least 30 minutes (5x a week)

-read at least 10 pages in a book before bed

I personally LOVE this challenge and try to do it once a year whenever I feel like I need the extra push on my weight loss journey. It’s realistic, flexible and I love how it makes me feel mentally and physically.

Unlike its more intense counterpart, the 75 Hard, the 'soft' version focuses on incorporating healthy, realistic habits into your routine over 75 days. It's about consistency and building a foundation you can maintain, rather than a quick fix. This flexibility is what truly makes it shine, allowing you to achieve and maintain a healthier and happier lifestyle without feeling overwhelmed. So, let's dive into the core '75 Soft Challenge rules' and how I personally made them work, covering the '75 soft rules' in detail: Eat Well, Balanced Meals: For me, "eating well" meant focusing on whole, unprocessed foods. I didn't eliminate entire food groups, but I made conscious choices. I found meal prepping on Sundays to be incredibly helpful – batch cooking healthy proteins like chicken breast or lentils, chopping veggies, and preparing quinoa or brown rice. This stopped me from reaching for unhealthy options when I was busy or tired. It wasn't about rigid dieting but about nourishing my body with what it needed to feel energized and support my weight loss goals. Alcohol Only on Special Occasions: This rule was initially a bit tricky, especially in social settings. My strategy was to define "special occasions" clearly for myself – think birthdays, anniversaries, or major holidays, not just a casual Friday night.
