An anti-inflammatory grocery list consists of whole, clean foods that are high in antioxidants, omega 3’s and fiber rich foods.

Here is an easy anti-inflammatory checklist to bring on your next grocery run!

Fruits: aim for fruits high in antioxidants and a variety of berries (ex: strawberries, blueberries)

Vegetables: aim for dark, leafy greens (ex: spinach, kale, brussel sprouts)

Protein: select proteins that are high in omega 3’s such as salmon, sardines. Other good protein sources include lentils and beans

Healthy fat sources: healthy fat sources include avocado oil, nuts, flax seeds, chia seeds, etc

Other misc items: aim for drinks that contain anti-inflammatory benefits such as green tea, turmeric beverages and kombucha. Dark chocolate is also a great anti-inflammatory sweet treat!
