Here are simple weight loss hacks you can incorporate in your daily routine now to help with your weight loss journey!

1: walk at least 10,000 steps daily ~ this is a great form of low impact cardio. TIP: utilize a fitness watch or step tracker to ensure you are meeting 10,000 steps daily.

2: track your calories ~ at the end of the day, to lose weight you MUST be in a calorie deficit. Weight loss is 80% nutrition and 20% workouts. I recommend using apps to easily track your calories and progress! Remember: to safely maintain a calorie deficit, you should calculate how much YOU specifically need. There are plenty of calculators online available to help you calculate your required daily calorie intake to safely lose weight

3: try out different workouts ~ to avoid burnout, try mixing up your workouts or try new ones! Get together with friends and try different workout classes

4: join a run club ~ joining a run club has been one of the best decisions i’ve made for my health and wellness journey. It’s also a great way to build community and meet other like minded individuals!

5: drink plenty of water ~ aim for 8 cups daily or close to a gallon of water. This curbs appetite and removes toxins from your body which makes it easier to shed the extra pounds!
