tiny habits that quietly boost my wellness🌿
Boosting your health and wellness doesn’t have to be complicated. I’ve found that the little things I do consistently can make a big difference over time. Here are a few small habits I’ve added to my daily routine that help me feel my best:
1: I start my mornings with a lemon ginger shot
Every day, I take a homemade lemon ginger shot made with ACV, fresh lemon juice, ginger, turmeric, and a pinch of black pepper. It gives me a natural boost of energy and supports my digestion and immune system.
2: Hitting 10,000 steps is a non-negotiable
Getting my steps in is one of the simplest ways I support both my physical and mental health. I especially love taking an afternoon walk after a heavier meal, it helps with digestion and instantly lifts my mood.
3: I read for at least 10 minutes before bed
This has become one of my favorite nighttime habits. Even just a few pages helps me wind down, quiet my mind, and gently signals to my body that it’s time to rest.
4: No screen time 30 minutes before sleep
Getting 7–9 hours of sleep is important to me, but so is the quality of that sleep. I avoid screens for at least 30 minutes before bed to help my body naturally produce melatonin and fall asleep more easily.
5: I include at least one green with every meal
Whether it’s spinach in my smoothie, a side salad, or sautéed veggies with dinner, I try to make sure I’m getting some greens in every meal. It’s a simple way to keep my meals balanced and nutrient-rich.
