Kids Weekday Decompress
This week we took a break from the after school daily routine and visit a local annual event with our first responders. The first responders like EMT, Firefighter,Police, and Military the kids get to look in their vehicles, pretend drive, play, there was fun jumps, food, snowballs, and door prices. My children really enjoyed themselves and asked a lot of questions and got to try on parts of police gear, hold different items and sit on motorcycle and SWAT truck.
So my question is; do you as a family, take a break from the regular routine and go to local events or elsewhere to decompress and enjoy each other? Or do you wait til the weekend? #lemon8challenge #letschat #diarychallenge #Lemon8Diary #firstresponders #kidsactivities #decompression
Finding time to decompress during the week is essential for families. Engaging in activities like visiting local events can enhance kids' social skills and provide educational experiences. During our recent outing with first responders, the kids had the chance to explore emergency vehicles and learn about important community services. It's beneficial to break away from the usual routine; whether it's through sports, art festivals, or simply spending time in nature, such outings can foster creativity and teamwork among family members. At these events, children often ask curious questions, nurturing their learning and development. Discovering new environments helps them build confidence in social interaction and decision-making. Remember to schedule these midweek breaks to alleviate stress and strengthen family bonds. How often do you prioritize such moments? Make it a family tradition!

My family doesn’t do this during the weekdays. They rarely do it during the weekends. Usually the weekends we are all separate from each other decompressing on our own. I think this would be a great Sunday morning thing to like have a meaningful hangout
