Birthday’s Are Special 🎈
Today is my oldest birthday, and he’s now in the double digits! 10! When he turned 5 I cried, and now he’s 10!? Where did time is go? 🤣🤣
But for me, I love to start there day with balloons ( I blew up) all over their room, and a present. That’s tradition for each one of them.
A month before I have them choose what they like to do, and or go and I make it happen!
What is something you do? Share below I’d love to chat 💜 And I know for plenty of us it is hard but we make it do what it do with what we got! And that’s what matters..the smile on our Children’s faces because they are grateful !
Planning a birthday celebration can be particularly challenging for single parents who have to juggle multiple responsibilities. To ensure your child's day is special, consider creating personalized themes based on their interests. For instance, if your child loves superheroes, you could incorporate decorations, games, and cake designs that reflect that theme. Another impactful idea is to involve your child in the planning process—ask them what activities they would love. This not only enhances their excitement but also fosters their decision-making skills. Activities could range from outdoor adventures like a picnic or a trip to a local amusement park, to an intimate celebration at home with their favorite movie and snacks. Moreover, keep in mind the importance of gratitude during celebrations. Sharing a moment before cutting the cake, where you express appreciation for your child's growth and achievements, can set a positive tone for the day. Engaging in fun traditions not only strengthens family bonds but also creates lasting memories that your children will cherish. Lastly, don't hesitate to reach out within your community for support or ideas—it could lead you to new ways of celebrating, or even finding help when planning these events. Remember, the key to a successful birthday is integrating love, fun, and a hint of creativity, making the day uniquely theirs!
