Rating my septum piercing pain…
10/10.. This piercing hurt so bad 😩 and I tolerate pain really well! The healing process was 100x’s worse. Please don’t get it during cold/flu season and have to wipe your nose all the time… PURE TORTURE! #septum #piercingjourney #piercings #piercingaddict
Getting a septum piercing can be a uniquely personal and painful experience. While many individuals may handle pain differently, those who have undergone the process often report varying levels of discomfort. The immediate pain from the piercing might be intense, but the post-procedure healing can be even more challenging. It's crucial to understand how environmental factors can exacerbate the healing process; for instance, getting a piercing during cold or flu season can lead to additional discomfort due to frequent nose blowing. This can hinder the healing process and increase irritation. Moreover, aftercare plays an essential role in how quickly your piercing heals. Maintaining hygiene and avoiding irritants is vital to prevent complications like infections or prolonged pain. It's also advisable to consult with a professional piercer about suitable jewelry options and aftercare tips before making the decision to get pierced. Connecting with others who share their piercing journeys can provide valuable support and insights, making the experience less daunting. Remember to listen to your body, and if the pain feels excessive or problematic, don't hesitate to seek professional advice.

You’re the first person I’ve saw who said the pain was 10/10. Pain level for me was 0/10. I have a high pain tolerance and have been getting piercings since before I was 18 lol but it didn’t hurt me at all.
