Charm Necklace✨

Went to Hip Hope Hooray in Denver to make a cutie matching charm necklace w my friend, Hanna, as her Xmas gift and it turned out so well ◡̈ the charm bar was within a trinkety-plant shop. All the charms were laid out on a table, there were a few silver ones, but mostly gold charms. I’m more of a silver girl, but it’ll be good to have a nice gold piece to wear when the vibe is right. We picked out every charm that interested us, then the lady running the charm bar helped us narrow down the charms and arrange them to look nice. Me & Hanna picked out the gold balloon dog and lock as our matching charms. I love seafood and fish so I picked out the clamshell with the little pearl detail, and a fish that had some moving pieces which is fun to fidget with. I also picked out a locket-because who doesn’t like a locket??? And it has a very satisfying snap to it, again… fidget central. We both picked out a charm with our initial on it. The A I picked out is bubbly and kinda funky, which is very my style. It almost doesn’t look like an A, and transparently, I have a love-hate relationship with those giant initial necklaces so trying to tow the line between following that trend and finding something that fit my groove. I finished it off with a cowboy boot because I’m from Colorado and I’m moving away (for the second time) and wanted to had a nod to my hometown when I leave.
