I came across SubStack as I was doom-scrolling on yet another day that my ADHD paralysis had me in a chokehold. What I didn’t realize was that THIS would be my breath of fresh air.
To find others willing to be vulnerable, whether it’s publicly, or under an alias. THIS is what social media is meant to be. This feels like a deeper community, and I am so happy to be able to read messages from other neuro-divergent souls like me.
Now, I don’t quite know where I fit into this community, but I’d like to bring a perspective from a young adult balancing a career in healthcare, regulating her nervous system, growing into her adult self, and observing all of the things that are often left unsaid.

I’ve found comfort in knowing I’m not alone in the 'things left unsaid'—those subtle struggles and triumphs that don’t always fit into everyday conversations.
Setting healthy boundaries has become a vital part of my self-discovery journey. I remind myself that it’s okay to outgrow old habits, relationships, and assumptions about who I should be. Embracing progress over perfection fuels continual growth and helps me be kinder to myself. This mindset shift offers grace, making room for curiosity and patience rather than frustration or overwhelm.
