MY LIFE WILL NEVER BE THE SAME 💔

As an only child, the loss of my mom suddenly and unexpectedly, without any warning has been super overwhelming. She meant everything to me, and I’m still finding my way through the grief.

In a single moment, my entire world changed and nothing feels the same. I’m trying to move through each day with a heart that’s still trying to understand the loss.

She wasn’t just my mother — she was my best friend — my girl, my entire world. Getting up each day has been incredibly hard, and I’m trying to breathe through the grief one moment at a time.

Grief has a way of touching every part of life — emotionally, mentally, and physically, even in the simplest daily moments. Some days, just getting up feels incredibly hard. The stress and grief has been so overwhelming that I’ve even had to be hospitalized. I’m trying to take things one day at a time and focus on healing but to be honest, that’s not going well.

Prayer warriors, please keep me lifted in prayer. I need strength, peace, and healing during this difficult time.

From my own experience, I’ve found that grief is an ongoing journey filled with ups and downs that touch every part of your being—mental, emotional, and physical. Some days, the pain feels unbearable, and simple tasks like getting out of bed become monumental challenges. It’s important to acknowledge these feelings rather than suppress them. Creating a support system is essential. Whether it’s family, friends, or spiritual communities, connecting with others who understand or are willing to listen can provide comfort during the darkest times. Prayer or meditation can also be powerful tools for finding moments of peace and strength when everything seems overwhelming. I’ve learned the value of taking things one day at a time, focusing on small steps towards healing rather than expecting to move on quickly. Sometimes, professional help is necessary, and there’s no shame in seeking therapy or counseling to help process grief. In memory of those we have lost, honoring them through rituals, keeping their stories alive, or even simple acts like looking at pictures or listening to favorite songs can bring solace. Although life changes forever after such a loss, nurturing hope and allowing yourself grace can eventually help rebuild a sense of normalcy. Remember, healing is not linear, and it’s okay to ask for help whenever needed.

We're standing in the gap for you sis. Whenever we're too weak to pray we must call upon our brothers and sisters in Christ to do so for us. You've made the call and here we are. I'll be putting you on my prayer list 🙏. May the Lord mend your broken heart. And may His love overwhelm and brings you comfort in such a time as this.
