My Review:
I finally read the book tok famous book and I get the hype. Biggest tip this is the 3rd book in this series so if you read them out of order prepare for previous book spoilers. Anyway, it was definitely a fun read in my opinion. By that I mean the diction of the book remained me a lot of how a person would normally talk. No fancy high vocab words. I enjoyed the depth to the characters as well. This book is heavy on the spice index so take that as you will. The only thing I would say takes away from the story is that it is a touch predictable…. So if you read an enemies to lovers book before it’s the same thing different story but you end with a happy ending which is always nice. This book has themes of fake dating, enemies to lovers, who hurt you, extra spicy, and best friend’s brother. Anyway, overall it was a good read and I had a lot of fun while reading it.
Description: Jules Ambrose, a strong and fiery bomb shell, that is in the last sent of her education to be come a lawyer. Josh Chen, an arrogant playboy, that is completing his hospital residency program. This book follows their story from enemies to lovers. Secrets are held, mistakes were made, but the truth prevailed.

After seeing 'Twisted Hate' by Ana Huang explode all over BookTok, I finally caved and picked it up on Kindle Unlimited. And wow, I totally get why it's been flooding my feed! From the moment I saw that striking cover – you know, the one with the bold red and pink hues, featuring that intense-looking guy in a tank top and the passionate embrace, plus the fiery redhead – I knew I was in for a wild ride. The cover art really gives you a hint of the drama and romance packed inside. This book is the third in Ana Huang's 'Twisted' series, and while you can read it as a standalone, a quick heads-up: there are some spoilers for previous books, so if you're a stickler for order, start from 'Twisted Love.' But even jumping in here, I was immediately swept away by the dynamic between Jules Ambrose and Josh Chen. Their enemies-to-lovers journey is pure gold. Jules, the strong, fiery aspiring lawyer, and Josh, the arrogant, disciplined doctor – their banter is electrifying! It's less about polite disagreements and more about outright verbal sparring, which makes their eventual connection feel incredibly earned. The 'best friend's brother' and 'fake dating' tropes are woven in so cleverly, adding layers to their already complicated relationship. And let's talk about the 'spice.' If you're wondering, 'Is Twisted Hate spicy?' The answer is a resounding YES. It's definitely on the higher end of the spice meter, but it's not just for shock value. Ana Huang integrates the intimate scenes beautifully into the character development, showcasing the evolving passion and vulnerability between Jules and Josh. For me, it added to the story's intensity rather than distracting from it. If you enjoy romance novels that deliver on both emotional depth and steamy moments, you're in for a treat. What I really appreciated was the depth given to both Jules and Josh. They're not just one-dimensional characters. There's a significant 'who hurt you' element, with secrets from their pasts slowly unraveling, which explains a lot of their initial hostility and guardedness. It makes their journey from enemies to genuine love feel more profound. Even though some parts felt a touch predictable – a common trait in this genre, let's be honest – the journey was so enjoyable that the predictability didn't bother me. Knowing there was a happy ending waiting for them made the ride even more satisfying. For anyone who loves a good romance with strong characters, undeniable chemistry, and a healthy dose of drama, 'Twisted Hate' is a must-read. It’s accessible on Kindle Unlimited, making it super easy to dive into. It's a fun, engaging read that lives up to its BookTok fame, leaving you feeling utterly invested in Jules and Josh's story long after you've turned the last page. Seriously, if you're looking for a book that will make you swoon, laugh, and maybe even shed a tear or two, add this to your TBR pile!
