Pt. 3 of my bog garden

As said on the last slide my sundews are looking great she’s making glue like crazy and has captured so many bugs already PLUS she had so many babies that are growing so fast😍

On the other hand both my Venus traps are not doing so well, ik she needs for light so I’m goin to place her in direct sunlight for about 3hrs until she’s used to it more, any tips?

... Read moreBog gardens are unique ecosystems that require specific care to thrive. Sundews, known for their glistening dew-like traps, play a critical role in insect control and can greatly enhance your garden's health. These fascinating carnivorous plants enjoy bright light and moist soil. Make sure to keep them in conditions where they can thrive, potentially placing them directly in sunlight for several hours. Conversely, Venus flytraps require a bit more attention when it comes to light and humidity. If they're not flourishing, adjusting their light exposure can help. Aim to gradually acclimate your plants to stronger light to avoid shock. Try to maintain their soil moist but not saturated, mimicking their natural wetland habitat. Additionally, consider using distilled water to prevent mineral buildup, which can harm these stunning plants. Sharing your bog garden journey through platforms like Lemon8 not only connects you with fellow plant enthusiasts but also opens up avenues for invaluable tips and support.
