My heart breaks for all those affected by the LA fires. Let me share with you “home heaven” many good homes are making their ascent there this week.
Coping with disasters like this is why I paint “home heavens”. Hurricane Ida destroyed my hometown and I longed for a place where our homes still existed as I remember 🩷 I hope that when you miss your home you can imagine it in a place where it is safe and still as you remember.
All homes go to heaven. The homes we lose in natural disasters, and the homes we lose to time. The homes that are no longer home because of those we lost. I’m creating a place for them all above the storm clouds, in the sunshine, full of love.
