Mopping with Pine Pinalen

Okay, so you guys know how much I obsess over a sparkling clean home, right? And finding products that genuinely make a difference? That's my mission! After a lot of research and some careful personal testing (always test a small, inconspicuous spot first, guys!), I can confidently say YES, you can use Pinalen on sealed wood floors, but with a few important caveats. The key is proper dilution. I typically use about 1/4 cup of Pine Pinalen per gallon of warm water. This creates a powerful yet gentle solution. You don't want to oversaturate your wood floors, so I always make sure my mop is well-wrung out before I start. I find my O-Cedar spin mop (shout out to my beloved O-Cedar!) perfect for this, as it allows for excellent control over moisture. I’ve tried the orange before, and it’s a lovely, citrusy scent if you prefer something different. However, for me, nothing beats the classic Pine Pinalen for that deep clean feeling and invigorating aroma. It just screams 'clean'! A little tip for all my fellow clean freaks: after mopping, I sometimes leave a small bowl of the diluted Pinalen solution in a corner of the room for an hour or so, just to let that amazing pine scent waft through the air. It’s like a natural air freshener! Remember to always keep your windows open for good ventilation while cleaning, especially with any strong cleaning products.
