... Read moreLooking back at secondary school can often feel bittersweet. Many of us remember those years as a peak time of our lives, even if we didn’t always enjoy every moment while they were happening. I’ve found that reflecting on secondary school offers an opportunity to understand ourselves better and appreciate the journey we’ve been on. It’s common to feel a bit jealous or wistful when seeing others who seemed to enjoy their secondary school experience more. This feeling is natural and highlights just how unique and personal each person's experience can be. Sometimes, we only realize how much those years shaped us once they're behind us. In my own experience, I noticed that acknowledging the value of those times helps in learning to feel better about oneself. School is more than just academics; it’s a place where we start perceiving the world and our place within it through the eyes of others. These early social experiences help build the foundation for how we interact and understand people later in life. Even if secondary school wasn’t the best time for everyone, it’s important to remember that growth and happiness can come from reflecting on those years and deciding what we want to take forward. Everyone’s story is different, and sharing these feelings openly can help us connect with others who have similar memories or regrets. Ultimately, secondary school is just one part of life, and learning from it can lead to a more positive and fulfilling future.

october lessons as a 32 y/o in corporate singapore
December taught me that growth doesn’t always come with noise. Some lessons whisper through exhaustion, waiting, and the courage to pause. Maybe slowing down isn’t falling behind. Maybe it’s catching up to what matters. What did october teach you about your own pace? 🌿
