the life of a parent

2/12 Edited to

... Read moreParenting truly is a full-time job that rarely comes with breaks—even simple moments like using the bathroom become a challenge. I've often found myself in situations where my little ones want to grab my hand or ask for something just as I try to get a moment of privacy. It’s both exhausting and endearing. What helps me is setting little milestones for privacy, like teaching kids that bathroom time is a quick moment for me to be alone, but also keeping a small toy or book nearby to keep them occupied. Of course, the reality is that this doesn’t always work, and sometimes you just learn to laugh it off and embrace the chaos. Sharing experiences with other parents online through hashtags like #parentlife and #badmomsclub has been incredibly reassuring. Knowing others face similar challenges makes the ups and downs of parenting feel less isolating. At the end of the day, these small moments of constant demands remind us how much our kids rely on us—and how patient and flexible parenting requires us to be.
