3 BOOKS I’D LOVE TO READ FOR THE FIRST TIME AGAIN
Two years ago, I would have never thought I’d pick up a book to read again. But, I’ve surrounded myself by so many great people, and allll of them were telling me what great books to read. So I started.
Last year I set a goal for myself on #goodreads. I surpassed that goal by 2 books. So, here are my honest reviews:
📖 Credence: this book is very controversial and can be very triggering for some, so if you wish to read this book, please read the trigger warnings first!
My last book of 2023 was Credence by Penelope Douglas. After I finished that, I didn’t pick up another book for 5 months. I was DEVASTATED that I had finished that book because I loved it so much. This book made me cry like a baby, and fall in love with all of the characters, and it had the outcome that I wanted.

📖 Archers Voice: I don’t think I’ve cried that many times reading any other book before. Archers Voice also made me go on a reading hiatus for a little. I couldn’t pick up another book after I finished for a while because I was just so mad. Not mad at the book, but mad that I finished it. Mad that there wasn’t more. Mad that it wasn’t longer. I got so into this book, that I felt like I was the characters. So when I finished it, I needed more, I was craving more of this.

📖 A Court Of Thorns and Roses: I finished this book in a day and a half, and it was my most recent. I NEVER thought in a million years that I would be interested in a book like this that’s more so a mystical land of fantasy and romance. But I absolutely fell in love with it the second I picked it up and I could not put it down! I didn’t get mad finishing this one, but only because it’s book one out of six so I know there’s still TONS left to the story. I guess it’s time for A Court of Mist and Fury!

What underlying messages are woven throughout the plot? How does this story reflect real-world issues? Archer's Voice is a perfect example; the themes of trauma, healing, and finding your voice are incredibly powerful and make you ponder the human spirit. Discussing these aspects with friends or in book clubs can bring new perspectives, making the reading experience even richer. For a fantasy series like *A Court of Thorns and Roses*, 'studying' the intricate world-building, political systems, and character development (especially Feyre's transformation!) adds so much to the enjoyment. It's like unraveling a magical puzzle with every chapter. And let's be honest, part of the joy of reading is sharing it! That's where 'book PFP' inspiration comes in. I just finished credence today! It only took about 2 days to finish. When I tell you I had a roller coaster of emotions!!!
