Lotion gives moisture and a smooth skin feel while trapping scent longer. Perfume oils tend to be more concentrated and last exceptionally well on pulse points. The combination of jojoba oil or almond-infused vanilla lotion and layered perfume oils has helped my skin scent stay fresh and inviting without overwhelming. For those looking to 'smell expensive' as the trend goes, mixing gourmand notes like vanilla and marshmallow with citrus hints is a winning strategy. These scent goals evoke warmth, sweetness, and a touch of elegance. Plus, layering scents allows for a customized, signature fragrance that stands out from off-the-shelf options.
