For me, truly understanding what it means to be a 'rich girl' has been a game-changer, and it has absolutely nothing to do with my financial status. It’s about leaning into your authentic self, recognizing that you don't have to be perfect to be worthy. I used to chase perfection, thinking that once I hit certain milestones or achieved a flawless exterior, then I could finally feel good enough. What a trap that was! The real turning point came when I realized worthiness isn't earned; it's inherent. You just have to believe you're worthy right now, exactly as you are. This isn't just a pretty phrase; it’s a daily practice. One of the biggest shifts for me was identifying my limiting beliefs. We all have them – those nagging thoughts that whisper 'you're not smart enough,' 'you don't deserve it,' or 'who are you to even try?' I started a simple journaling exercise: every time a negative thought about myself popped up, I’d write it down. Then, I’d challenge it. Is it 100% true? What’s the evidence against it? More often than not, I found there was no real evidence, just old stories I’d been telling myself. Replacing 'I have to wait for permission' with 'I AM the permission; I AM the plan' felt incredibly liberating. Another powerful tool has been surrounding myself with a community that uplifts and encourages. Being part of groups – whether online or in person – where women celebrate each other's wins and hold space for upgrades has been invaluable. It reminds me that I’m not alone in this journey of building and becoming. We're all in various stages of manifesting our dreams, and having cheerleaders makes all the difference. Embracing the 'rich girl' mindset also means prioritizing self-care, not as a luxury, but as a necessity. For me, it's about setting boundaries, saying no without guilt, and dedicating time to activities that truly nourish my soul, whether it's a quiet morning with my coffee, a brisk walk, or just five minutes of mindful breathing. It’s about replenishing my energy so I can show up as my best self, not just for others, but for myself. This journey isn't about reaching a destination; it's about enjoying the process of building and becoming. Every small step you take to honor your worth, challenge a limiting belief, or practice self-love, is you stepping further into your 'rich girl' power.
