I wasn’t actively searching

I think people assume I was actively searching for another business.

I wasn’t.

I loved doing hair.

I had clients I adored.

I was building a salon with my husband.

But when I was pregnant with my second daughter, I kept having the same thought:

“Is this what it’s always going to look like?”

Not because I wanted less.

But because I wanted more flexibility.

More options.

More breathing room.

At the time, I wasn’t chasing some huge dream.

I was simply looking for a way to create a little more space in my life.

Funny how the smallest decisions sometimes end up changing everything.
