Valentines Blondies 🫶🏽❤️🩷🤍
Ingredients
* 8 ounces unsalted butter, melted until browned
* 2 cups dark/light brown sugar, firmly packed
* 3 teaspoons vanilla extract
* 2 large eggs plus one egg yolk, at room temperature
* 2 cups all-purpose flour
* 1/4 teaspoon salt
* 2 teaspoons baking powder
* 1 1/2 cups holiday M&Ms for batter
* 1/2 cup holiday M&Ms for top of batter
* 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
* 1/2 cup holiday sprinkles for batter
* 1/4 cup holiday sprinkles for top of batter
Instructions
* Preheat oven to 350 degrees (F). Spray a nonstick 9x13-inch baking pan with nonstick baking spray. Set aside.
* In a saucepan over medium heat, melt butter until browned (should take between 5-10 minutes). Remove from heat and cool for a few minutes, then scrape the butter into a large heat proof mixing bowl.
* Whisk in the brown sugar and mix until well combined. Stir in the vanilla. Then add in the eggs and egg yolk, beating until combined.
* Using a rubber spatula, fold in the flour, baking powder, and salt, mixing until just combined. Finally, fold in the M&Ms, sprinkles, and chocolate. Scrape the batter into the prepared pan. Make sure to spread out evenly in your baking dish.
* Sprinkle the remainder of M&Ms and sprinkles on top of your batter.
* Bake for 25 to 30 minutes, or until the edges are firm and golden and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Might need longer depending on the type of pan you use. Cool in pan for at least 20 minutes before cutting.

I absolutely adore making these Valentine's Blondies every year! They're such a delightful change from traditional cookies, offering that perfect chewy-gooey texture that everyone craves. Beyond just following the recipe, I've picked up a few tricks over time to make them truly irresistible and perfect for celebrating love. First off, don't skip browning the butter! It adds an incredible nutty depth of flavor that takes these blondies from good to absolutely amazing. Seriously, it's a game-changer. Just keep an eye on it on medium heat until those little brown bits appear at the bottom and it smells fragrant – usually 5-10 minutes. Then, make sure to let it cool a bit before adding the sugar and eggs, or you might end up with scrambled eggs in your batter! When it comes to mixing, resist the urge to overmix once you add the flour. Just fold it in until it's just combined. Overmixing develops the gluten too much, which can lead to a tough blondie instead of that wonderfully tender chew we're aiming for. And speaking of texture, the baking time is crucial! Keep an eye on them around the 25-minute mark. You want the edges to be set and golden, but the center should still look a little soft. A toothpick inserted should come out with moist crumbs, not wet batter, but not completely dry either. They'll continue to set as they cool. I've found that letting them cool completely in the pan is key for perfect squares – patience is a virtue here! Want to get creative? While the holiday M&Ms and sprinkles are fantastic for a festive look, don't hesitate to experiment! I sometimes add a handful of white chocolate chips for extra sweetness, or even a swirl of cream cheese frosting on top after they've cooled for an extra decadent touch. For a more sophisticated twist, try adding some chopped pecans or walnuts – just make sure they're toasted first to bring out their flavor. You could also swirl in a bit of raspberry jam for a fruity surprise that pairs beautifully with the chocolate. These blondies aren't just for eating at home; they make the most thoughtful gifts! For a 'blondies box' that truly wows, I like to cut them into neat squares, sometimes using a heart-shaped cookie cutter for a few, and then arrange them in a pretty bakery box. Line the box with parchment paper or a festive tissue paper. You can tie it with a red or pink ribbon and add a small handmade tag. Sometimes, I even buy edible glitter or small sugar heart decorations to sprinkle on top right before packaging for an extra sparkle. They're perfect for teachers, friends, or your significant other. To keep your delicious creations fresh, store them in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3-4 days. If you want to make them ahead, they also freeze beautifully for up to a month. Just wrap individual portions tightly in plastic wrap and then place them in a freezer-safe bag or container. Thaw at room temperature when you're ready to enjoy that sweet, chewy goodness again! Enjoy sharing these lovely treats!

We want the brownie recipe, I’ve been waiting since 2018 😂❤️
