Bee Balm Native Plant🌸🌿🌷

Planting Bee Balm from seed. This will be a big thing for me because the germination window is up to 21 days. Constantly watering a seed for 21 days is exhausting. And with a busy schedule it will test my limits to see if I really have the discipline that I think I have.

To help the process, I’m using a little greenhouse hack.

🌱 The Planting: Bee Balm seeds actually need light to germinate, so I didn't bury them—I just pressed them right on top of the soil.

🔒 The Bag: That’s why they are in the Ziploc. It acts as a humidity dome to lock in moisture. Since the seeds are on the surface, they dry out fast, but the bag keeps them hydrated so I don't have to hover over them 24/7.

Gardening is honestly the ultimate teacher of patience. It forces you to slow down and trust that work is happening even when you can't see it yet. In a world of instant gratification, waiting three weeks for a tiny green sprout reminds me that the best things take time. 🌿✨
