After trying out my bedazzling kit for a month, I've become hooked on customizing everyday products to give them a fresh and personalized look. One of my first and favorite projects was bedazzling the Glow Recipe Watermelon Glow PHA + BHA Tonique. The colorful crystals really made the bottle pop and gave it a unique charm that’s fun to display on my vanity. I also experimented with COSRX’s Advanced Snail 96 Mucin Power Essence, though I wasn’t completely satisfied with the color choice I made for it. Sometimes selecting the right gem color is tricky, but that’s part of the creative process! Another successful project was decorating my EOS body lotion and the mini Miniso perfume bottle; both turned out adorable and received lots of compliments from friends. One tip I learned is to think about the practicality of bedazzling—items you use daily should still be easy to handle and open. I avoided putting too many gems on the Conair brush because I wanted to keep it functional, even though the rainbow colors seemed less vibrant after adding stones. Adding bedazzling to beauty products like the ELF Glow Reviver Lip Balm made it look extra cute and special, perfect for gifting or your own collection. A fun bonus was incorporating small cat figure charms in some designs, which added personality and playfulness. If you’re considering trying bedazzling, start with small items you love and have around. It’s a great way to combine crafting with self-expression, and the result is something uniquely yours. Plus, it’s surprisingly relaxing and rewarding to see dull bottles and containers come to life with just a bit of sparkle and creativity.
