Butterfly Sugar Cookies 🦋
These turned out way better than I thought. Sugar cookie flavor (with a little citrus flavor-orange). Icing was made with powdered sugar, milk and egg (and added food coloring). Surprisingly easy for how beautiful they are. Perfect for Easter/Springtime. ⭐️Overall rating: 10/10
Butterfly sugar cookies are a charming addition to any spring celebration, especially Easter. To make these cookies truly memorable, consider incorporating natural food colorings from beet juice or spirulina for a healthier option. You can also experiment with different citrus flavors like lemon or lime to elevate the taste. Fun cookie-cutting techniques include using a butterfly-shaped cutter or creating a stencil for a decorative touch. To enhance the visual appeal, try adding edible glitter or sprinkles on top of the icing. For a more festive presentation, package the cookies in clear bags tied with colorful ribbons to give as gifts. Storage tips for your sugar cookies: Keep them in an airtight container at room temperature to maintain freshness for up to a week. If you're preparing them in advance, consider freezing the decorated cookies. Just be sure to let them thaw completely before serving for the best texture. Whether for a baking party with friends or a delightful treat for family gatherings, butterfly sugar cookies will surely impress everyone with their beauty and taste. Enjoy the process of baking and get creative with your decorations!
