Vanilla Pearl from Five Below

I actually do like this one.I Wore it yesterday with Vanilla Sugar by Sand and Fog and it was nice. I will get another bottle because I know this will layer nicely with a few fragrances that I Love. I didn't smell alot of there perfumes and 90 out of 100 smell cheap and teenager like. This 1 and Kimberly are the only 2 I did like.

... Read moreOkay, so I have to share my latest Five Below perfume obsession: the Belcam Beauty Vanilla Pearl! Seriously, if you're like me and love finding high-quality scents without breaking the bank, you need to hear about this one. I originally stumbled upon it while browsing, and honestly, my expectations for Five Below perfumes are usually pretty low. Most tend to smell a bit generic or, as I've put it before, 'cheap and teenager-like.' But this Vanilla Pearl? It's a delightful exception. What really caught my attention, beyond the immediate pleasant aroma, was realizing the sophisticated blend of scent notes. On the packaging, it clearly lists roasted vanilla, pear, and sandalwood. When I first sprayed it, I got that initial burst of juicy, slightly sweet pear, which is so refreshing and not overly sugary. Then, the warm, comforting roasted vanilla starts to emerge, grounding the fruitiness with a creamy softness. And finally, the sandalwood peeks through, adding a subtle woody depth that elevates the whole fragrance beyond what you'd expect from its price point. It's not just a flat vanilla; it's got layers! I'm a big fan of layering perfumes to create a unique scent signature, and this Vanilla Pearl is an absolute dream for it. As I mentioned before, pairing it with Sand and Fog's Vanilla Sugar was pure magic. The Vanilla Sugar enhanced the gourmand, sweet aspects without overpowering the subtle pear and sandalwood in the Pearl. I've also found it layers beautifully with other warm, amber-based scents, or even a light floral if you want to add a touch of sweetness. The versatility of this scent is truly what makes it a standout for me. It’s not too heavy, so it doesn’t clash, but it’s present enough to complement other fragrances. Now, let's talk about performance – because that's always a big question with affordable perfumes, right? While it's not going to last all day like a high-end EDP, I was pleasantly surprised by its longevity. I typically get a good 3-4 hours of noticeable scent before it settles into a softer skin scent. For a mist or an EDT from Five Below, that's pretty impressive! The sillage is moderate; it’s not going to fill a room, which I actually prefer for everyday wear. It leaves a lovely, subtle trail without being overwhelming. Finding gems like the Belcam Beauty Vanilla Pearl makes hunting through Five Below's beauty section so rewarding. It truly stands out from the crowd. I also remembered liking another one called 'Kimberly' from their collection, which gives me hope that they are starting to offer more refined options. For the price, grabbing a bottle (or two!) of Vanilla Pearl is a no-brainer. It's perfect for a quick refresh, a gentle daily scent, or as a base for your layering experiments. I’m definitely going back for another bottle because I know this will be a staple in my rotation, especially given how nicely it blends with my other favorite fragrances. If you see it, grab it – you won't regret adding this sweet, warm, and slightly fruity vanilla to your collection!
