💍 DIY WEDDING SHOES 👟✨

I wanted custom Bride & Groom wedding sneakers, but Etsy wanted $200 PER PAIR for a similar design! 😳

So I decided to make them myself! 🙌🏽

✨ What I used: • 2 pairs of Nike Court Royale 2 Mids — $130 • Rhinestones from Dollar Tree — $1.25 • Clip-on bows from Dollar Tree — $1.25 • “Bride” & “Groom” lettering made with my Cricut

💰 TOTAL: $132.50 for BOTH pairs!

I added the rhinestones, bows, and custom lettering myself, and I absolutely LOVE how they turned out! ❤️

Why spend $400 when you can get creative and make something beautiful, personal, and affordable? 😍

👰🏽‍♀️🤵🏽‍♂️ Custom. Affordable. Made by me.

When I decided to make my wedding sneakers, I wanted something that reflected our personalities but without the hefty price tag of $200 per pair on Etsy. Using easily accessible supplies like Nike Court Royale 2 Mids, dollar store rhinestones, and clip-on bows was a game changer. The process was surprisingly simple yet rewarding. I started by carefully planning the design layout to ensure the rhinestones and bows complemented the shoes instead of overwhelming them. Using a Cricut machine to create the "Bride" and "Groom" lettering gave the shoes a professional, custom look that tied everything together beautifully. One tip I learned along the way is to work in small sections when applying rhinestones. This helped secure them firmly and avoided any glue mishaps. Also, choosing clip-on bows from Dollar Tree saved time compared to hand-making bows while still adding an elegant detail. Beyond the cost savings, the best part of DIY wedding sneakers is how meaningful they become. Every embellishment and letter was thoughtfully added, turning ordinary shoes into a statement piece for the big day. Plus, it’s a fun project that brings a sense of accomplishment and creativity. If you’re considering customizing your wedding attire or accessories, this approach proves you don’t need to sacrifice quality or style. Just allot some time, gather your materials, and get creative—you’ll have a unique keepsake that perfectly matches your wedding vibe. Trust me, it’s worth every minute spent crafting shoes that truly feel made with love.
