When we talk about Zeta Amicae, we're talking about an incredible group of women who embody 'Finer In Friendship & Service Since 1948.' Many might not know, but Zeta Amicae are the auxiliary organization of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority Inc. They are often referred to as the 'Friends of Zeta,' and their role is just as vital as the sorority itself. These dedicated women, who may not be college-educated but share the same passion for service, sisterhood, and community betterment, come together to support the Finer Women of Zeta Phi Beta in their various programs and initiatives. Their commitment to friendship and service has been unwavering for decades, making a tangible difference in countless lives. It warms my heart to see such a strong bond and shared purpose. And speaking of Zeta Phi Beta, what an astounding achievement – their Centennial! Celebrating 100 years of 'Service, Sisterhood, and Finer Womanhood' is no small feat. I remember seeing 'Happy Centennial Founders Day' messages everywhere around Jan 16, 2020, and it truly resonated. Imagine the legacy built over a century – the scholarships awarded, the communities uplifted, the leaders cultivated, and the bonds of sisterhood forged. The impact of this 'SORORITY INCORPORATED' is immeasurable, and their dedication to living out their principles is a beacon of hope and progress. The beautiful synergy between Zeta Amicae and Zeta Phi Beta is something truly special. The Amicae provide invaluable support, helping to extend the reach of Zeta Phi Beta's programs into wider communities. Whether it's through local service projects, fundraising efforts, or simply being there to offer a helping hand and a friendly face, the 'Friends of Zeta' are indispensable.
