Ok yall so after seeing so many good reviews about this new fragrance “Cherry eclipse” from Ms. Grande I went and ordered the travel size “BLIND”. I must say I’m glad I bought the travel size and not a big bottle. Is it a bad fragrance??? NO! But will I rebuy??? NO! It’s cute but it’s not for me . Although I love most of Ariana’s fragrances this one won’t be in rotation 🤭🩷 #fragrancerecommendations#arianagrande#Fragrance#BeautyTips#honestreview

... Read moreI totally get the feeling of being excited for a new fragrance from a favorite artist, especially after seeing all the buzz! When I first heard about Ariana Grande's 'Cherry Eclipse,' I was super intrigued, especially with the 'cherry' in the name. Like many, I decided to start with the travel size, and honestly, that’s a smart move for any new scent. The little travel-sized Ariana Grande 'Cherry Eclipse' perfume bottle, often found in that cute pink box with the 'r.e.m.' branding and '10 ml' clearly marked, is perfect for trying it out without committing to a full bottle.
For me, the initial spritz of Cherry Eclipse is definitely a burst of juicy, sweet cherry. It’s got that playful, youthful vibe that many of Ariana’s perfumes are known for. I also pick up on a subtle hint of what feels like apricot or plum, which adds a bit of a jammy, dark fruitiness rather than a bright, fresh cherry. It's definitely on the sweeter side, almost gourmand, but not overwhelmingly so in the very beginning.
However, as it settles on my skin, I found that the cherry note can become a bit less prominent for me, blending into a more generic sweet, musky base. While it's pleasant, I personally didn't find that unique 'wow' factor that makes me want to keep reaching for it. It's a nice, inoffensive scent, but it didn't evolve or last as long as I hoped, which is why, like the original review mentioned, it might not make it into my regular rotation. If you're someone who loves a strong, long-lasting cherry bomb, this might not be your absolute top pick, as it leans more into a softer, more blended cherry experience.
Compared to some of Ariana’s other beloved fragrances, like Cloud or God Is A Woman, Cherry Eclipse feels a bit less distinctive. Cloud, for instance, has that unique creamy, sugary, slightly woody profile that’s instantly recognizable. Cherry Eclipse, while lovely, felt a bit more conventional on my skin after the initial cherry burst. It’s a good option if you’re looking for a soft, sweet, everyday scent that isn't too overpowering, perhaps for a casual day out or a cozy night in. It could be perfect for someone who enjoys subtle fruit-gourmand scents and doesn't want anything too complex or heavy.
My biggest piece of advice, especially if you're like me and have a specific expectation for a 'cherry' fragrance, is definitely to try it before you buy a full size. The '10 ml' travel-sized Ariana Grande 'Cherry Eclipse' perfume bottle is truly your best friend here. It allows you to experience how the scent develops on your skin throughout the day, which can vary so much from person to person. Don't let the hype or a single review deter you, but use it as a guide to help you decide if this sweet, fruity blend from Ariana Grande is the right addition to your collection.
