i went on a hike!
my dad and i just finished a hike along the📍Rogue River Trail in Oregon.. it was treacherous let me tell you.
the entire trail is 40 miles, but we went in at about 15.. and did the entire thing in a day. i wore hiking boots and everything, but my feet are a little too wide so they were rubbing against the sides the entire time. i have a total of 8 blisters on my feet lol.
we started walking around 11 am and got back to my car (the end) at around 9:45 at night and slept in my car lol. we were planning on spending the night out there and finishing in the morning, but we both knew if we woke up and had to walk MORE we would’ve been extra exhausted.
i might do the hike again in like two years lol, once i forget the pain im in right now (and have MUCH better hiking boots). if anyone is thinking of taking this trail, take about 10 bottles of water PER PERSON, invest in good ass hiking boots, and get a proper tent lmao. and bring a swim suit because you WILL want to take a swim in the river (it’s amazing, you can’t not)
