Self growth journey 2024

This year I have decided to invest my time in reading about inner child healing and then progress to learning leadership skills.

I want to turn my life around and change the victim narrative. I have always been blamed as being a pessimist and after so many years of hearing that, I feel like I am one hell of a pessimist

Hence I took up this journey.

Will stay on it as long as possible, months to years.

I want to be a better confident self and make use of manifestation to bring fortune in my life

It's not just about writing; it's about creating dedicated 'inner child healing journal pages' where you can truly connect with your younger self. I initially felt a bit lost, but I found that setting up a specific journal for this, like my 'THINGS ON MY SELF HEALING JOURNEY' notebook, made all the difference. It became a safe space for raw emotions and deep reflection. If you're wondering where to start, here are some journal prompts that have really helped me on my path to changing my thoughts and embracing self-love: Connecting with Your Younger Self: *What was a moment in your childhood when you felt truly happy and safe? Describe it in detail.* This helps you recall positive memories and emotions. *If your inner child could tell you one thing right now, what would it be?* Listen to that message without judgment. *Write a letter to your younger self, offering comfort, understanding, and reassurance.* This is incredibly healing and can help you feel like you're 're-parenting' yourself. Addressing Wounds and Needs: *What did your inner child need but didn't receive? How can you give that to yourself now?* This might be validation, protection, or simply being heard. *Describe a time your inner child felt scared, sad, or unheard. What would you do differently for them today?* *What belief did your inner child form about themselves or the world that still affects you today? How can you challenge that belief?* This relates directly to changing your thoughts and breaking free from old narratives. Nurturing and Empowering Your Inner Child: *What activities does your inner child crave? How can you integrate more play, creativity, or joy into your adult life?* Remember the freedom to create without judgment. *Write down affirmations specifically for your inner child.* Things like, "You are worthy of love," "Your feelings are valid," or "You are safe now." These affirmations, like the ones I jot down, are crucial for building self-esteem. *What boundaries does your inner child need you to set in your current relationships or life situations?* This was a huge realization for me – learning to draw boundaries to protect that vulnerable part of myself. Beyond just writing, I've found that integrating other practices greatly enhances the journey. My 'yoga diary' has been a fantastic way to bring consistency and peace into my daily routine. Even just 10-15 minutes of mindful movement can help you feel more grounded before or after journaling. The consistency I've gained through yoga has spilled over into my journaling, making it a more fruitful experience. Remember, inner child healing isn't a race; it's a marathon. There will be days when you feel breakthroughs, and days when it feels like you’re taking two steps back. The key is to keep showing up for yourself, keep those journal pages open, and trust the process. It's truly a transformative journey towards becoming a more confident, authentic you.
