Back in the spring of 2023, I would feel lonely at home and would look for inspirations on Pinterest to create something. I’d go by the pier, draw something and then come back home to paint it.
Looking back at them now, I realize how they were depicting what I imagined myself as. Faceless but lonely, not sad but alone. 🥹
The yellow colors were the onset of autumn in 2023.
I made three such bookmarks.
I was playing with brushpens then for the first time.
