What I painted in Central Park 🌷

Hola dear lemon8 community 🙋‍♀️

Today I went to the central park to see the cherry blossoms.🌸🌸

The day was sunny in NYC and such a nice weekend for a day out. ☀️

The cherry blossoms haven’t bloomed totally but still were able to find a few pink trees.

Other trees were also having very beautiful flowers. 🌺

With so many families and groups around, it was such a peaceful and fun place to be today.

I took time and painted these tulips there. 🌷🌷🌷

I wanted to paint tulips since long and finally did it sitting in the park today.

How do you like it?

Done with watercolors.

... Read moreCentral Park is renowned for its stunning cherry blossoms, especially during the spring season when the park comes alive with colors. Artists and nature lovers alike flock to this iconic location to experience the beauty and tranquility of the blooming flowers. Apart from cherry blossoms, tulips add a vibrant touch to the park's landscape. When painting flowers, especially tulips, it’s essential to understand their structure and colors. Tulips come in various shades, making them a favorite among watercolor artists. The technique of wet-on-wet can create beautiful transitions between colors, capturing the delicate nature of petals. It’s recommended to sketch lightly before starting with paints to ensure the shapes are well-defined. Whether you're an artist or just someone who enjoys the beauty of nature, painting outdoors can elevate your creative experience. On peaceful weekends, taking a moment to immerse yourself in the scenery can inspire unique artworks. Remember, the best time to capture the beauty of flowers is often early in the morning or late in the afternoon when the light is softer. So, if you're in NYC, be sure to visit Central Park to enjoy the seasonal blooms and perhaps bring your painting materials to create your own masterpiece!
