7 Study Essentials in budget 📙

I have recently started studying again, for an upcoming exam(wish me luck) and also for job hunt.

Studying after a break can be intimidating.

I have some tips for you to make the process a little easier.

1. Keep a notebook for notes and another for practice sessions. The cleanliness in the revision notebook will make it so much easier to go back to it.

2. Stick to 2-3 pens and that should be good enough.

3. MAKE A TRACKER. Cannot emphasise it enough. I am also learning it and bringing it into practice.

4. Treat yourself once in a while in any way you feel because you deserve it. It doesn’t have to be a candy, it can be anything.

... Read moreHey everyone! Jumping back into studying after a break, whether it's for exams or a job hunt, can feel like a huge mountain to climb. I totally get it! But what I've learned is that having the right tools and a smart strategy makes all the difference. Beyond the basic 'study essentials' I shared, let me dive a little deeper into how I truly make my study sessions effective and even enjoyable. First off, let's talk about creating that perfect 'study time photo' vibe. It's not just about aesthetics; a well-organized desk can seriously boost focus. I always ensure my space is clutter-free, much like that ideal desk setup you see in study inspiration pictures. Having my 'Basic black pens and a highlighter' (as seen in my snaps!) within reach, along with my chosen 'Colored pens (optional)', helps me quickly switch between tasks without rummaging. And those 'sticky notes to mark chapters'? Absolute game-changers for quick referencing and avoiding dog-eared pages! Now, for the holy grail: 'how to make clean notes'. This was a huge struggle for me initially. My tip for 'A notebook for Clean notes for revision' truly transformed my study game. Instead of just frantically scribbling everything down, I now actively listen or read, then summarize in my own words using bullet points and clear headings. Using a 'rough notebook for practice sessions' first allows me to brainstorm and make mistakes without messing up my final revision notes. I also love using different colored pens to categorize information – blue for definitions, green for examples, and red for key takeaways. This visual separation makes revision a breeze! Another game-changer? Tracking progress. My original advice to 'MAKE A TRACKER' is something I live by now. I actually use an 'excel to track progress', noting down topics covered, practice questions done, and even my mood during study sessions. It's incredibly motivating to see how far I've come. And speaking of motivation, don't forget to 'Treats you deserve when you work hard'! It doesn't always have to be a lollipop; sometimes it's a 15-minute walk, a cup of my favorite tea, or catching up on a short podcast episode. These small rewards keep me going and prevent burnout. Ultimately, these aren't just 'study essentials'; they're habits that cultivate a more productive and less stressful learning journey. By focusing on smart organization, effective note-taking, and consistent motivation, you'll find your study sessions become much more impactful. Give these expanded tips a try and let me know how they work for you!
