BECOMING!!!

On this journey of healing, I’ve been challenged to re-evaluate my values and set new SMART goals that align with them. I’ve always wanted to be a 🪴 mom since I value connect. I’ve tried several times in the past and always managed to fail.
When my parents died last year, I was gifted a peace lily that I unfortunately couldn’t take care of so my sister•friend @mzcoleman01 was there to save my plant Charlie through. She’s saved him several times and kept me from spirialing.
Long story Long: Sunday I connected with Sis and she jumped in and was there from delivery to display. We did that and I’m forever grateful.
She surprised me by bringing MyCharlie plant home. 🥹
Since this is a new journey, I added my parents to the aesthetic to assist with keeping their spirits alive and to bring life and light into my home.
Becoming a plant mom is more than just nurturing a plant—it's about fostering a relationship that brings peace, reflection, and growth into your daily life. Caring for a peace lily like Charlie can be a therapeutic experience, especially when intertwined with memories of loved ones. This journey often requires setting SMART goals—Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, and Time-bound—to develop consistent care habits and create a nurturing environment. Peace lilies are known for their air-purifying qualities and their ability to thrive indoors with moderate light, making them ideal companions for those seeking calm and healing inside their homes. Incorporating plants into your living space not only brings vitality but can also symbolize hope and resilience during times of personal loss or challenge. Sharing this experience with supportive friends or family members can deepen the connection and foster emotional support. The act of reviving a plant like Charlie, especially with the help of a caring sister or friend, demonstrates the power of community in the healing process. Adding personal elements such as photos or mementos of loved ones enhances the plant’s presence, making it a living tribute that brightens your space and spirit. Ultimately, becoming a plant mom is a unique and fulfilling journey that encourages mindfulness, patience, and love. It reminds us that through nurturing growth—both botanical and personal—we can find peace and light in life’s darkest moments.
