🌱 No Green Thumb? Here’s Why That’s a Myth.
This one’s going to hurt some feelings, but…saying you “don’t have a green thumb” isn’t a real thing. It’s just a cute way to say, “I didn’t research what my plant actually needs.”😅
A green thumb isn’t magic. It’s not luck. It’s not some plant whisperer gene. It’s simply the result of doing your homework.
Here’s my real process:
– I read about my plants.
– I ask other plant people questions.
– And most importantly, I apply what I learn.
If you’re tossing a plant into a pot with no drainage, loading it up with Miracle-Gro, sticking it in a windowless bathroom, and watering it whenever you remember… it’s not going to thrive no matter how “green” your thumb is.
🌿 The secret to happy, healthy plants? Effort and research. Not magic. Not vibes. Just learning what your plant needs and actually doing it.
Save this post for when you’re tempted to buy another plant before googling its care needs first.😉

I have to disagree with this to an extent. I have a thriving garden and my mom can’t keep anything but her peace lily alive. And she does follow the rules. Her parents owed greenhouses and sold flowers for a living while she grew up. Plants just don’t like her. At least not the indoor ones.
