The plant I wanted to love, but just couldn’t🩷🌿
Philodendron Pink Princess confession: I really thought I’d love this plant. I paid good money for one, brought it home, and expected it to become a favorite. Instead… I sold it in the same year.
Why?
🌱 The growth pattern was all over the place. No matter what I did, it grew awkward and uneven.
🌱 The pink didn’t stick around. As it matured, the leaves got darker and darker until most of the pink was gone. It just turned into a deep green plant that didn’t feel special or worth the price.
Some people get the perfect candy-pink leaves and a balanced plant. I got the opposite.
What popular houseplant is on your “no thanks” list?🫣

I’m on my third!! Sadly the other two are no longer with us!! I realized they love to climb and love humidity, so a moss pole helped tremendously!! Then I follow this guy on here who showes how to cut back most of the green to make the pink come back!!❤️ he does the same thing with his albino Monstera!! even after he propagated the ones he chopped off that were all green. Some of them started getting pink babies!! personally I am too scared to do that! Lol
