✨Homemade Chicken Snack Wrap ✨🍗🧀🌮

I love McDonald’s snack wraps, but with my surgery and weight loss journey, making them homemade is a much better option!!

What you’ll need:

Fave Tortilla (I ran out of low carb so u used whole what this time)

Shredded Cheese (any kind)

Light ranch or favorite low cal sauce

Shredded lettuce (I didn’t have any so I used the kale I had)

What you do:

Air fry/Bake chicken tenders according to instructions

Heat tortilla for 10 seconds in microwave

Spread sauce evenly on tortilla

Add chicken tender, cheese and lettuce.

Wrap and enjoy!

I added cucumbers in lightly ranch with some salt and pepper but homemade french fries are good with this too!

One tip I've learned is to experiment with different leafy greens; when I didn't have lettuce, I substituted kale, which added a nice nutrient boost and a bit of earthiness. Using whole wheat tortillas instead of low-carb options still keeps things relatively healthy, and microwaving them for about 10 seconds makes them pliable and easy to fold. For the chicken, air frying has been my favorite method. It crisps the chicken tenders beautifully without needing extra oil, which aligns well with my calorie-conscious goals. When I have time, baking works well too and adds a slightly different texture that I enjoy. Spreading a light ranch or a favorite low-calorie sauce evenly on the tortilla before layering ingredients really helps the flavors meld together. Plus, it keeps the wrap moist and flavorful. Adding shredded cheese provides a satisfying creaminess, and I often toss in extra veggies like cucumbers lightly dressed with ranch, salt, and pepper for crunch and freshness. I pair the wrap with homemade baked french fries sometimes to keep the meal feeling indulgent but still under control calorie-wise. Overall, this homemade snack wrap is a flexible, quick meal solution that fits well into a weight loss and health-focused lifestyle. It’s also kid-friendly and perfect for lunch or a light dinner. I recommend trying different sauces and veggies to keep it fresh and personalized to your taste preferences.
