Love or hate Sushi?
Eat or pass??
I love sushi! I think I can probably eat it every week. This is from a recent omakase I went to. It’s fatty tuna topped with uni, caviar and gold flake. A mouthful of goodness in my opinion.
I can see how some might be turned off by the texture or the fishiness. How do you feel about sushi? There’s more than just fish on top of rice if that’s not your cup of tea!!
Happy to share recs 🤗🤗
Sushi has become a global cuisine favorite, but its taste and texture can spark strong opinions. For enthusiasts, sushi offers a variety of options beyond just raw fish on rice. From vibrant maki rolls to flavorful nigiri, every bite presents a unique culinary experience. Those wary of traditional sushi might want to explore vegetarian or cooked alternatives, such as tempura rolls or cucumber maki, which provide a lighter, crunchier experience. The key to enjoying sushi lies in exploration—trying different styles, ingredients, and even local specialties can transform your outlook. For instance, regions like New York City boast a fantastic sushi scene, with innovative creations combining traditional Japanese flavors and modern twists. Don't hesitate to ask for recommendations when visiting a sushi bar; chefs often love sharing their specials with patrons. Lastly, the environment in which sushi is consumed can greatly affect your perception. A cozy sushi restaurant with a welcoming atmosphere can enhance your dining experience. So, whether you're an avid sushi lover or a hesitant diner, broaden your palate and share your thoughts! What kind of sushi do you prefer? Let's chat and exchange recommendations!
