Plants vs. Zombies Prepare Remake HD Graphics 🍋
After a 16-year hiatus, legendary games like Plants vs. Zombies are coming back in a remake version called Plants vs. Zombies: Replanted, bringing back the first installment released in 2009, with HD-sharp image upgrades and new modes of play that make older fans feel familiar, but there's more to be excited about than ever.

Plants vs. Zombies: Replanted will come with a classic story mode from the original, but it adds new gimmicks such as a co-op mode that can be played with friends on a single screen, a PvP mode including a Rest in Peace mode with a permadeath system that needs to be restarted, and a solar-limited Cloudy Day mode that makes planting planning even more challenging, and special mini-games and stages that have never been released before.

The game itself will be released on October 23, 2025 on Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2, with plans for release on other platforms like PC through Steam and the Epic Games Store. Anyone who pre-orders will also receive the "Retro Peashooter" skin as a giveaway.

Despite nearly two decades, the first installment of PvZ has been very well received. Currently, the Game of the Year version on Steam has also scored "overwhelming positivity" from over 130,000 players. The return is therefore a true resurrection of one of the legendary plot games.
