Nvidia app adds a new, oversized feature 🍋
NVIDIA adds a new feature for the NVIDIA App to welcome Gamescom 2025. This round comes with a great feature like DLSS Override Global Setting that many people should like. It allows one-time DLSS settings to end. It affects every game and app on board. No longer waste time sitting on, closing, or reconfiguring one game at a time.

It's also easy to see the Override status from the in-game overlay page (press Alt + Z). NVIDIA also says that there are now more than 175 DLSS 4-compatible games and apps. Called if anyone has a card, RTX is fully available.

Another interesting feature is Smooth Motion, an AI technology that enhances frames to make images more slippery. It's similar to AMD Fluid Motion Frames, but it's a driver-level operation. Originally, only the RTX 5000 card has now been expanded to the RTX 4000. It's considered a gift for people who haven't upgraded to the newest series. Because it makes games that don't directly support the DLSS Frame Generation, it's still more slippery than ever.

NVIDIA also brought back old options from the Control Panel era like anisotropic filtering, anti-aliasing or ambient occlusion to adapt in the Show Legacy Settings category of the NVIDIA App so that people who like to customize their fine images can use them again. And for the notebook line, there is an Advanced Optimus update that makes it easier to switch screen cards between iGPU and dGPU.

The Project G-Assist feature, which uses AI to customize PC values, was upgraded to be smarter, use 40% less RAM, and support screen cards with 6GB or more VRAM.
