Intel is set to send a refresh version of Core Ultra later this year. 🍋
Intel seems to have accepted that the Core Ultra 200 (Arrow Lake) was not as successful as it hoped, because the current in the desktop market was not as strong as it should have been, and AMD was also dumping away with the new Ryzen CPUs.

Most recently, Intel CFO David Zinsner spoke out about it, insisting that the company prepare to send Arrow Lake Refresh to the market later this year before entering the Nova Lake era that is actually posing as a big change.

The model code now has no clear conclusion on whether to use the Core Ultra 300 name or still Core Ultra 200, but the sub-model code is separated, so it still has to wait for the official announcement from Intel.

This is the first time Intel has officially mentioned the Arrow Lake refresh, after all the rumors and data. The model that will be refresh is a desktop CPU and a high-end notebook, similar to what it did with Raptor Lake, but it must be admitted that what has changed is probably just pushing Clock Speed higher. Overall performance is not very different.

Intel has tried to solve many games, including new features like APO, customize memory performance, and find a way to attract users to choose the Core Ultra 200, but the results have not been as expected. Arrow Lake Refresh seems to be "buying time" to clear the LGA 1851 motherboard stock and continue to support the customer base.

However, while not a very exciting model, it's still a big step for Intel to take while waiting for the Nova Lake that many believe will be a worthy model, and it's Intel's real comeback in the battle against AMD.
