After Windows users complained last Aug 2025 because of the KB5063878 update that Microsoft released to plug a security vulnerability, they created a new bug that was even more headache. Especially UAC or User Account Control issues, it bounced up and asked for a few add-ons that weren't needed.

As a result, many apps have stumbled. Whether it's Autodesk, old Microsoft Office models like Professional Plus 2010, or apps installed through MSI files, some have found Error Code 1730 and cannot be used at all.

Most recently, in the September patch, Microsoft released a new update (KB5065426 and KB5065431 for Windows 11, Windows 10, KB5065429 / KB5065428 / KB5065427 / KB5065430) to solve this problem permanently, adjusting the UAC to bounce only when the MSI file has a real permissions, and also opening the way for an admin to set allowlist for certain apps.

There are also bug fixes that affect streaming via NDI on apps like OBS that cause twitching, sound, mismatch, or retardation to the stream. At first, Microsoft set up to change the receiver mode itself, but now the new patch handles it. It works slippery. No need to fix anything else. Anyone who has been waiting for a long time to update and come back comfortably.

สำหรับใครที่ใช้งาน Windows รุ่นใหม่ล่าสุดและเจอกับปัญหา UAC เด้งขอสิทธิ์แอดมินรัว ๆ จนแอปหลายตัวทำงานผิดปกติ โดยเฉพาะแอปที่ติดตั้งผ่านไฟล์ MSI หรือแอปเก่าอย่าง Microsoft Office Professional Plus 2010 การอัปเดตแพตช์กันยายน 2025 นี้ถือเป็นข่าวดีมาก ๆ ครับ เพราะนอกจากจะแก้บั๊กนี้ให้เรียบร้อยแล้ว ยังเพิ่มฟีเจอร์ให้ผู้ดูแลระบบสามารถตั้งค่า allowlist ให้กับบางแอปได้เลย ช่วยลดความน่ารำคาญได้มาก อีกหนึ่งปัญหาที่หลายคนที่ชอบสตรีมด้วยโปรแกรม OBS เจอมาก คือภาพกับเสียงไม่ตรงกัน กระตุก หรือหน่วงจนไม่สามารถสตรีมต่อได้ แพตช์ใหม่ก็ได้แก้ไขปัญหานี้อย่างสมบูรณ์ ไม่ต้องตั้งค่าโหมดรับสัญญาณเอง ใช้งานได้ราบรื่นทันที เหมาะมากกับคนที่ต้องทำงานกราฟิกหรือไลฟ์สดงานต่าง ๆ ผมเองก็เคยเจอปัญหานี้ตอนอัปเดต Windows แล้วต้องคอยปิดหน้าต่าง UAC ซ้ำ ๆ และมีปัญหาสตรีมไม่ราบรื่น หลังจากลงแพตช์นี้แล้วรู้สึกว่าปัญหาลดลงเยอะมาก ไว้ใจได้ขึ้นมากครับ ใครยังไม่อัปเดตก็รีบไปดาวน์โหลดได้เลยจาก Windows Update ช่วยให้การใช้คอมพิวเตอร์และสตรีมของคุณสบายใจขึ้นแน่นอนครับ
